Create a strong and healthy stepfamily,   one STEP at a time

Krista Giovara is a fifth-generation Northern California native, a wife, mother to four and stepmom to three.

After enduring an unexpected open heart surgery a few years back, Krista makes an effort to enjoy life to the fullest: spending time with her husband, their seven kids, wake surfing, fundraising for the League to Save Lake Tahoe and writing about it all.

She's learned a great deal from her 12 year journey as a stepmom of a large blended family and her goal is to share the many valuable lessons she's learned in the hopes of helping others better navigate the unique challenges of being a stepmom.
