Heather Hetchler is a certified life coach, writer, speaker, and adjunct professor of Communications. With over 15 years of professional experience and 17 years as a stepmom, Heather combines education, training and real-world experience to support women navigating complex family dynamics and life transitions.
Heather holds a Bachelor's from Miami University, a Master's from Cleveland State University, and a PhD from the stepfamily school of hard knocks. She has multiple certifications in communication, conflict management, and online instruction.
As a contributing writer for StepMom Magazine, Heather shares her insights regularly and is the co-author of "Quiet Moments for the Stepmom Soul" and the upcoming "The Art of Reframing for Stepmoms" (February 2025).
