Speaker Bio: Claudia Cuyun bio
Claudia was a fascinating speaker! Having lived in multi-cultural situations outside the continental US for the first half of my adult life (and first marriage), I especially appreciated hearing the similarities and differences in the Latin American context. Within the US, we live in micro-multicultural situations that we sometimes fail to recognize how significantly they impact our life experience and our blended family experience. I experienced the stepmom stigma intensely in our conservative southeast corner of the US (Southern Appalachian plus religiously conservative areas). I want to make a difference for stepmoms today.
